HOW TO REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETION
Send your deletion request from the email address associated with your NEXUS Industrial AI account to:
Use the following email subject:
NEXUS Industrial AI Account Deletion Request
Include the following information in your message:
• the email address associated with your account
• the user’s name, if provided in the account
• the name of your company or organisation, if you use a company account
• whether you are requesting deletion of the entire account or only specific data
Do not send your password, payment card information, identity documents or other sensitive information.
To prevent unauthorised deletion, we may request additional confirmation that you are the owner of the account. Verification will be performed using the email address associated with the account or another reasonable verification method.
We will acknowledge receipt of the request within seven days. A verified request will be processed without undue delay and no later than 30 days after successful identity verification, unless applicable regulations or justified circumstances require otherwise.
DATA THAT WILL BE DELETED
When you request deletion of your entire account, the data associated with your user account will be deleted or permanently anonymised, including:
• user profile
• name and email address associated with the account
• authentication and account access data
• user preferences
• the association between the user, plan and licence
• personal AI queries and responses
• private service notes
• privately stored photographs and documents
• other personal content associated with the account
• direct references connecting the user to their activities
After deletion is completed, the user will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted account or access information that was available only through that account.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
COMPANY DATA AND SERVICE RECORDS
If the user worked within a shared company workspace, certain technical and business information may belong to the company rather than the individual user.
Such information may include:
• machine and equipment records
• company technical documentation
• fault and service intervention records
• inspection and diagnostic results
• maintenance history
• information required by other authorised company users
This information may remain stored as part of the company’s business and service records. Where possible, the deleted user’s personal identity will be removed or anonymised.
Deletion of an entire company workspace may require a request from an authorised administrator or responsible representative of the company.
DATA THAT MAY BE TEMPORARILY RETAINED
Certain information may be retained after account deletion where necessary for:
• compliance with legal obligations
• accounting and tax records
• prevention of fraud and misuse
• protection of system security
• dispute resolution and protection of legal claims
Purchase, invoice and business transaction records are retained for the periods required by applicable laws.
Limited security and audit records may be retained for up to 12 months, unless longer retention is required because of an active security incident, legal obligation or legal proceeding.
Information contained in backups may remain stored for up to 90 days, after which it will be removed through the regular backup replacement cycle. Backups will not be used to reactivate a deleted account.
Retained information will not be used for advertising, marketing or other new purposes.
DELETION OF SPECIFIC DATA WITHOUT DELETING THE ACCOUNT
Users may request the deletion of specific personal data, photographs, documents, AI queries or other content without deleting the entire account.
The request should clearly identify the information to be deleted and, where possible, specify the machine, fault or activity to which it relates.
Deletion of company information may depend on the user’s role, the authority of the company administrator and the company’s legitimate need to retain technical or service records.
GOOGLE PLAY SUBSCRIPTION
Deleting a NEXUS Industrial AI account may not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Google Play:
Open the Google Play Store.
Open your user profile.
Select “Payments and subscriptions”.
Select “Subscriptions”.
Select NEXUS Industrial AI.
Select the option to cancel the subscription.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically constitute a request to delete the user account. A separate account deletion request must be submitted using the procedure described on this page.
